Matilda graduated with a degree in Herbal Medicine from the University of Westminster in 2015 and is a member of The National Institute of Medical Herbalists which was established in 1864 to ensure the efficacy and safe use of herbal medicine.
Her training included over 500 clinical hours and covered modules such as: Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition, Clinical Examinations, Botany, Pharmacology, Materia Medica and Practitioner Development.
Having studied Ayurvedic Medicine with Anne McIntyre, Matilda incorporates both Western and Ayurvedic approaches into her practice. Matilda is passionate about empowering people to take control of their health and the potential small changes have for our wellbeing.
HERBAL TREATMENT
The first appointment will include an in-depth discussion of what you would like to focus on including the timeline of symptoms, investigations and interventions done and any patterns you have noticed with your symptoms. Matilda will also ask you about your general wellbeing, diet and lifestyle, medication and medical history. From this a treatment plan will be made and herbal treatment chosen and dispensed. Matilda will also discuss appropriate diet and lifestyle changes and any recommended supplements.
